Skirts!

The Danish women's curling team is wearing skirts in tonight's game against Canada at the 2010 Olympics. I don't remember noticing them in a previously televised game. And I didn't realize any women's curling teams still wore skirts. Interesting...

Those are kilts. Some women curl in kilts. Most notably, the Colleen Jones team that included Nancy Delahunt, Kim Kelly, and Mary-Anne Arsenault. Colleen is a 6-time Canadian champion and twice a World champion. She's covering the curling for NBC this Olympics.

Yes, I certainly remember the kilts of Colleen Jones (also Marilyn Bodeau (sp?)/Dort). I hadn't seen anything like them for the past few years, though, and was surprised to see them on the Danes. ... especially with leg-warmers!

NBC has some coverage of Olympic Curling?? Thanks for letting us know!
