Curling Porn

I note that even though the 2011 Women's World Championship concluded last week and the curling world is all a-buzz about the 2011 Men's World Championship in Regina beginning tomorrow (with practices today), over half the traffic to this blog is still looking for the nude women of curling calendar. Sex sells.

The Scott Tournament of Hearts Is Coming:
Visits to this blog soar as net surfers search for nude photos

The Scott Tournament of Hearts, Canada's curling championship for women will soon take place. It will be earlier than usual this year, presumably to avoid conflicting with the 2010 Winter Olympics.

We were reminded that it is coming soon because visits to this blog have sky-rocketed recently. It appears that suddenly someone somewhere has written yet another article about the Nude Women of Curling Calendar, and hundreds of people are visiting this posting on EclectEcon and this posting here at Curling, to look for the soft-core porn of curling. I'll grant that the few photos I have seen from the past calendars are superb art, but it never ceases to amaze (and disappoint) me that people are more interested in nudity than they are in our writings on other subjects.

The Latest Nude Women of Curling Calendar

The 2009 - 2011 calendar featuring exquisitely artful photos of female curlers is available. The photos were posed and/or taken by Ana Arce, herself a curler. You can see most of the photos here. The one below is especially captivating. The side-lighting is very effective.

More on the Nude-Women-of-Curling Calendar

Alright. What's going on? Who published yet another article somewhere about the calendar featuring the nude women of curling? Traffic on this blog site is sky high these days, and it isn't all from people looking to read the two articles we've posted in the past five months.
