Scalped Tickets to the Brier

Walking to the John Labatt Centre this afternoon for the 16th draw of the 2011 Brier, I was offered tickets by someone on the street. This was a person who clearly had quite a few tickets available and wasn't just selling a few extras.

So I asked his price, and said "half price!"

That was his starting price.

Now where do you suppose he acquired those tickets?
