Students? Alan and Doc?

Jeff Timson, Media Coordinator for the Canadian Curling Association and for the 2011 Men's World Curling Championship, has been very gracious and accommodating to both Alan and me for our work both here in Regina at the Worlds and last month in London at The Brier.

Our media credentials are for CHRW radio at The University of Western Ontario, where I did quite a bit of baseball play-by-play work in the 1990s and early 2000s, and for whom Alan and I covered the 2006 Scott Tournament of Hearts. It is a campus radio station, mostly operated by students.

Yesterday, Jeff stopped by our place on the media bench and said, "You two guys are the oldest students I've ever seen!"
